Operational Data Strategy & Platforms

Led design and strategy for a large-scale operational data platform and foundational technology uplift across a global mining & metals organisation, defining conceptual architecture, solution architecture, data product strategy, master/reference data priorities and integration patterns. I established repeatable patterns, automation, and clear architectural guardrails across cloud and operational environments.

To enable execution I aligned stakeholders across technology, operations, and delivery teams to formulate strategy for execution priorities, metrics for success, and a blueprint for the delivery of the work.

Creating business-led analytics and decision making solutions

Technical lead and solution architect for multiple projects including web applications for frontline engineers, advanced analytics platform built on AWS and data integration solutions built on Azure for a global mining & metals organisation The solutions provided capabilities for data-driven decisions for maintenance activities and operations underpinned by trusted data analytics and machine learning models.

Additionally across different projects I provided architecture guidance and technical QA across data science, data engineering and infrastructure teams while supporting business engagement and change adoption.

Electrical Engineering Foundations

Contributor to the design, simulation, and implementation of a control stage, consisting of electro- static drive actuators for an advanced isolation system used at AIGO Western Australia. I created MATLAB simulations of both an Inverse Pendulum and the ESD system. From these simulations, a combination of filters was designed and created in order to ensure system stability.
