Chatbots are my passion

Led the development of a chat bot application (C#) built for a global mining & metals company leveraging the use of Azure Cognitive Services, natural language processing, and integrations with site data and SAP.

Building on this in my spare time I maintain Discord chatbots (Node.js & Python) which have enriched the experience of the communities I play video games with by providing gameplay data and community tools.

Driving business-led analytics solutions

Technical lead and solution architect for program of work including an advanced analytics platform built on AWS and data integration solutions built on Azure for a global mining & metals company. The solutions provided capabilities for data-driven decisions for maintenance activities and operations underpinned by trusted data analytics and machine learning models.

Additionally across different projects I provided architecture guidance and technical QA across data science, data engineering and infrastructure teams while supporting business engagement and change adoption.

Built from electrical engineering

Contributor to the design, simulation, and implementation of a control stage, consisting of electro- static drive actuators for an advanced isolation system. I created MATLAB simulations of both an Inverse Pendulum and the ESD system to provide additional analysis. From these simulations, a combination of filters was designed in order to ensure system stability.
